Local-first by design
Localy AI runs AI models entirely on your PC. Your prompts, files, and conversations stay on your device. There is no cloud inference and no server-side logging of your chats.
What we do collect
The app contacts our servers only to download models and check for updates. These requests include the requested model name and your app version. We do not collect prompts, completions, files, or personal content.
No accounts, no tracking
Localy AI does not require an account. We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the desktop app.
Third-party model providers
Models are downloaded from their original open-source providers. Their licenses govern your use of the model weights. Inference happens locally — we don't proxy your data to them.
